Here are the most recent real estate testimonials from some of my past clients
Colby and Stephanie are a young couple looking to get a share of the real estate boom. Since Colby had experience working in the construction industry, they wanted a home with upside potential in a great neighborhood. They found a brick ranch home in #Centennial that could benefit from some sweat equity. With some work on the landscaping, painting the inside and outside of their home, new floor coverings and updating their kitchen, they are well on their way to increasing the value of their home with some sweat equity.
Tammy and Adrian felt a call to urban living. They found a wonderful home in Washington Park within a few blocks to Washington Park and within walking distance to a local cafe. Plus a big bonus was that their new home was now only a 10 minute drive to their son’s private school, After taking all the professional stager’s advice, their home showed like a model. Even though it was during the slower winter showing months, their home was soon “Under Contract”. Now they are happily in their Washington Park home, enjoying the shorter commute, walking to the local cafe and walking their dog in Washington Park.
After the birth of their 4th child, Kristina and Sam decided they had outgrown their Highlands Ranch home. They wanted to stay in the Douglas County School District, so after looking around for awhile, they settled on building a home in the Parker area – which also happens to be close to her parents and grandparents. Kristina & Sam spent some time getting their home in tip top shape before we put it on the market. We were aggressive on the price, but it sold for $5,000 over asking price in 36 hours. Now on to making new memories with their family in their new home.
Mike and Carolyn took a summer vacation back home to Michigan. They came back to Centennial and decided it was time to move back home. Their home was beautiful. After a few minor suggestions from my stager, their home was ready to list in no time. They received a full price offer within 3 days. Before they knew it, they were packed, closed on their home and on their way back “home” to Michigan.
Mike & Gloria had a rental home in Brighton. They were tired of being landlords and had decide to sell their home. They replaced the carpet which made the home look perfect. It already had designer paint and upgraded appliances and was clean and well maintained. The first day it was on the market they received a full price offer. They accepted it. Four weeks later they are no longer landlords and can spend their spare time doing things they enjoy.
Brad is a buyer in a definite Seller’s Market. In order to be the successful buyer, we jumped on the property the 1st day it was on the market. There were 16 showings the first two days. Brad was competing with 3 other offers. Vickie had some tricks up her sleeves to make Brad & Pat’s offer the most attractive one. But winning the bid was not the last step. Lenders are reviewing loans with a fine tooth comb to prevent future defaults. It took much persistence on their part to keep providing the items the lender required in a timely manner. By their persistence paid off and they now own a beautifully updated, move in condition, ranch home on 5 acre horse property in eastern Parker. Congratulations Brad & Pat.
My clients, Jim and Jennifer are thrilled with their home. They are first time buyers and decided on a beautiful home in Highlands Ranch. It was a evolving process for them in deciding what features best fit their dream home. The next challenge was the bidding wars that are common in this current real estate market. They were positioned well to become the winning bid – they had a pre-approved mortgage letter; they didn’t need closing costs, and were willing to make an aggressive offer. The result is that they are thrilled to be moving into their dream home this weekend.
Nate and Meleah are a newlywed young couple who grew up in Arvada. They wanted to buy their first home within a close distance to Arvada. They both had different tastes – Nate wanted a single family home. Meleah wanted top of the line upgrades in her home or townhome. After looking for several months, we found the perfect home for them up in Westminster – a beautifully updated single family home in an upscale neighborhood. They are both thrilled with their new home.
Last year Mat and Jessica purchased a home from me. Once they accomplished that, they turned their attention to preparing Mat’s condo for sale. After much sweat equity and some good choices, Mat’s condo was ready for the market. We made sure we staged it so it would show like a model home. We checked out the rest of the market and positioned it properly for the top of the line condition of the condo. Within 8 days, Mat had accepted a good offer on his condo. Now Mat and Jessica can spend their weekends at their home instead of preparing the prior condo for sale.
After 30 years of living in Cherry Creek Vista, Rick and Penny decided it was time for a change. Since they are partially retired and spending a lot of time at another home in Southern Colorado, they decided it was time to part with their well loved, maintained home. The inside, outside and yard was beautiful. After my stager, Carolyn, made some minor suggestions, their home was in “Show Home” condition.
Their home went “Under Contract” in less than 6 days for close to the listing price. The path to closing went smoothly.
Now they won’t be doing the splits between Southern Colorado and Englewood and will be able to have more leisure time instead of so much time commuting back and forth.
Michelle and Chris originally contacted me last year about finding a home in Cherry Creek Vista. They had a friend that suggested they check out the DTC, Cherry Creek School family neighborhood. Their search expanded to the nearby Sundance Hills neighborhood in Greenwood Village. Once they narrowed their search down to this great neighborhood, it was a matter of waiting for the right home to come on the market in their price range.
Arvin and Suchitra wanted to buy a bigger home for their growing family. They were interested in the Observatory Park area of Denver. But first they had to sell their home in Platt Park by University of Denver (DU).
We worked to prepare, market and sell their Platt Park home sold. After looking in many areas and at many homes, they found the perfect home, in their ideal neighborhood and within their desired price range.
For awhile, they thought they might have to “settle” on for their new home purchase, but persistence paid off and they found their dream home within their price range in the exact neighborhood they wanted.
Chris and Ashley had a newer patio home to sell in Thornton in Cherrywood. We were worried about the competition of the new builds on the same block, but they did all the right things to prepare their home. Their home went “Under Contract” within 3 weeks.
