What are the Denver Housing Trends?
In this Denver Metro Real Estate Market Overview we continue to see an increase in homes for sale over the same month the prior year – to a current total of 8,201 listings. That is actually more than a 37.4% increase in the homes for sale from January 2018.
That’s great news for buyers as there are more homes to choose from. Sellers are going to have to be more conservative in their listing prices if they don’t want their home to stay on the market for more than 30 days. But this is also good news for sellers. If homes were to continue to appreciate at the rate they have for the last 3-4 years, no one could afford to buy a home.
