It is estimated that nationwide 77% of homes will sell below their asking price the first quarter of 2019, the experts forecast. That means that Sellers need to adjust their expectations about the changing market and their pricing. And home buyers may find more deals and less competition.
Even though home price increases have slowed down, they have still appreciated around 5% across the nation in the last year. Currently interest rates are slightly off from the high of 5%. Forecasts for 2019 is that interest rates will continue to increase.
