Why You Should Use a Real Estate Agent – Part III
February 2, 2020 By Vickie Hall
The public have unlimited access to so much real estate information on line, that some buyers and sellers wonder why they should use a real estate agent.
With everyone wanting to save money, some think real estate agents just add cost to the transaction and not much value.
Buying a home is probably the biggest purchase of your life. A Real Estate Agent has your best interests at heart and can save you from making any number of expensive mistakes.
Another reason to use a Real Estate Agent is for their Experience and Expertise on Negotiations – Price is not always what you have going for you and not always what the sellers want. Besides trying to beat your competition with a higher price, sometimes terms can help make you a negotiation winner.
How about a 2 week closing? Or would giving the sellers the option to stay in their home for a month after closing be attractive to them – especially if they haven’t found their new home yet and they don’t want to move twice.
Most people want to have the winning bid, but they don’t want to overpay. A good real estate agent can help you with that concern.
Some other reasons why you should use a real estate agent will be discussed in future blog posts or were discussed in prior blog posts are:
